Textured like the coast, designed to hold smoke, light, and stillness.

Handmade stoneware Palo Santo holder with a textured, coral-like surface and deep center cup. Designed to hold one Palo Santo stick or a small candle. Each piece varies in color, texture, and form due to the glazing and firing process.

Origin:
Barranco, Peru. Handcrafted by artisan Nagib Zariquiey at Altamar Ceramic Studio using small-batch ceramic techniques. Luna Sundara has worked directly with Peruvian artisan communities for over 10 years.

How to use:
Place the holder on a heat-safe surface. Light a Palo Santo stick at a 45° angle for about 30 seconds, blow out the flame, and rest it in the center cup while the smoke rises. Can also be used to hold a small candle.

*The glazes used are not ordinary finishes but special enamels that generate unique crystals and textures, ensuring that no two pieces are exactly alike. Slight variations in color, texture, and finish are part of the artisanal process, celebrating the beauty of handcrafted imperfection.
